How Evrixy collects, uses and protects your personal information.

Who we are

Evrixy (evrixy.com) is an online marketplace in Sri Lanka. This policy explains how we collect, use, share and protect your personal information. We handle personal data in line with Sri Lankan law, including the Personal Data Protection Act, No. 9 of 2022, as it applies to us.

Information we collect

Account and order details: name, email, phone number, delivery and billing address, and order history.
Payment information: payments are processed by our payment provider. Evrixy does not store your full card number.
Messages: what you send to our support team.
Technical data: device, browser and pages visited, collected through cookies and similar tools.

How we use your information

To create and manage your account, process orders and payments, arrange delivery, send order updates and tracking details, provide customer support, prevent fraud, improve the site and, where you have agreed, send you offers. You can opt out of marketing messages at any time.

Who we share it with

The seller fulfilling your order receives only what is needed to pack and deliver it: your name, delivery address, phone number and the items ordered.
Couriers receive your name, address and phone number to deliver your parcel.
Service providers such as our payment provider, hosting and email delivery services process data on our behalf.
Authorities where the law requires it.

Sellers and couriers must use your data only to fulfil your order. We do not sell your personal data.

Cookies

We use cookies to keep you signed in, remember your cart and understand how the site is used. You can control cookies in your browser settings. Some features may not work without them.

How long we keep data

We keep personal data only as long as needed for the purposes above and to meet legal, tax and accounting duties. We then delete or anonymise it.

Your rights

You can ask to see the personal data we hold about you, correct it, or ask us to delete it where the law allows. To make a request, email support@evrixy.com. We will respond within a reasonable time.

Security

We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your data. No online service can be completely secure, so please keep your password private.

Children

Evrixy is not intended for children under 18. We do not knowingly collect their data.
